Admin setup for Create Presentation

This page is for Google Workspace™ administrators who want to enable Create Presentation with AI ChatGPT | Slides™ by docgpt.ai (App ID 517982554715) for their organization, and for users who see this message from Google:

We are sorry, but you do not have access to this Addon. Please contact your Organization Administrator for access.

The message comes from Google, not from the add-on. It means your organization restricts which Marketplace apps can run. Reinstalling does not help; only an administrator can turn it on.

What the add-on accesses

When installed, Create Presentation asks for:

  • View and manage the Google Slides™ presentations that the add-on is installed in (only the presentation where you run it, not all your files)
  • Display and run third-party web content in prompts and sidebars inside Google applications (the wizard window and the sidebar)
  • Connect to an external service (the docgpt.ai service that writes the slides)
  • See your primary Google Account email address and basic profile info (to link your plan to your account)

Steps for the administrator

You need to be a super administrator of the Google Workspace™ organization.

Option A: Admin install (recommended)

  1. Open the Create Presentation Marketplace listing.
  2. Click Admin install, review the data access, and choose who gets the add-on: everyone, or specific organizational units or groups.
  3. Click Finish. The add-on appears in Extensions in Google Slides™ for those users.

Option B: Add the app to the allowlist

  1. In the Admin console, go to Apps → Google Workspace Marketplace apps → Apps list.
  2. Click Allowlist app, search for Create Presentation with AI ChatGPT (App ID 517982554715) and select it.
  3. Choose the organizational units or groups that may use it and save.
  4. Check that Marketplace settings allow users to install allowlisted apps.

Also check API controls

  1. Go to Security → Access and data control → API controls → Manage App Access.
  2. Make sure Create Presentation is not set to Blocked.
  3. If your organization blocks unconfigured third-party apps, click Configure new app, find Create Presentation (App ID 517982554715), and set it to Trusted or to the access your policy requires.

Google Workspace™ for Education: for users marked as under 18, apps stay blocked until they are allowlisted or installed by an administrator, and the school is responsible for any required parental consent.

If the app shows Partially granted after an update, open it in the Admin console and click Grant access. Changes can take up to 24 hours to apply.

Hi,

I’d like to use the Google Workspace Marketplace add-on “Create Presentation with AI ChatGPT Slides” by docgpt.ai. When I open it, Google shows: “You do not have access to this Addon. Please contact your Organization Administrator for access.”

Could you enable it for me (or for my team)? Either option works:

  1. Admin install: open https://workspace.google.com/marketplace/app/create_presentation_with_ai_chatgpt_slid/517982554715 , click “Admin install” and choose my organizational unit or group.
  2. Allowlist: Admin console → Apps → Google Workspace Marketplace apps → Apps list → Allowlist app → search “Create Presentation with AI ChatGPT” (App ID 517982554715).

Please also check that it is not blocked under Security → Access and data control → API controls → Manage App Access.
