Mail Merge plans, billing and cancellation

You start with 11 free emails. Paid plans are Starter ($4.99 a month or $49.99 a year), Premium ($12.99 a month or $129.99 a year) and Pro ($24.99 a month or $249.99 a year), paid through Stripe with the same email as your Google account. To cancel, contact support; your plan stays active until the end of the period you paid for.

What do I get for free?

  • 11 free emails to start. The sidebar shows “Trial” and how many emails you have left. Test emails don’t count.
  • Included on the free plan: open and click tracking, test emails, Google Contacts import, sender name, reply-to address, and files attached to your Gmail draft.
  • Footer: free-plan emails end with a small “Sender notified by Mail Merge for Gmail” line with a link to docgpt.ai.
  • Not included: scheduling and personalized attachments (a different file per recipient).

When your free emails run out during a campaign, the add-on stops and writes CLICK_GO_PREMIUM__NO_CREDITS_LEFT in the remaining rows. After you upgrade, run the campaign again and those rows are sent.

What do the paid plans cost?

Prices are in US dollars. Paying yearly costs about 16 to 17% less than 12 monthly payments.

Every paid plan removes the footer and adds scheduling and personalized attachments. Plans differ in their monthly allowances. For what each plan includes, see Mail Merge pricing.

How do I upgrade?

  1. In the sidebar, click 🚀 Go Premium, or open the pricing section. When you open it from the add-on, your email is filled in for you.
  2. Choose a plan and monthly or yearly billing. Checkout is handled by Stripe.
  3. Use the same email as your Google account in Google Sheets™. Your plan is matched to the add-on by email address. If you paid with a different email, contact support.
  4. Have a promotion code? Click Add promotion code at checkout.
  5. After payment, Stripe shows “Now please re-launch add-on inside Sheets to use premium.” Close the sidebar and click 🚀 Launch again.

If the sidebar still says “Trial”, wait two minutes and launch again. The add-on can keep your old account status for up to 2 minutes.

Does a paid plan raise Gmail’s daily limit?

No. Google limits how many recipients you can email per day through the add-on: about 100 on @gmail.com and 1,500 on Google Workspace™. Every plan is still capped by that limit. See Gmail sending limits.

How do I cancel?

There is no cancel button in the add-on or on the website. To cancel:

  1. Contact support, or use the chat on docgpt.ai.
  2. Write from, or mention, the email address you paid with.

Your plan stays active until the end of the period you already paid for, and it is not renewed after that.

To change plans or switch between monthly and yearly billing, contact support the same way.

Can I get a refund?

Contact support with the email you paid with and tell us what happened.
