Overview

This Privacy Policy explains how “Debloat Your Face with AI” (the “App”) handles information. The App is intended only for adults aged 18 or older. It provides wellness-oriented photo analysis, food analysis, hydration and habit tracking, and personalized recommendations. It is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

Information the App Handles

Photos you choose: selfie images and food images that you capture or select for analysis.
Analysis and wellness data: AI-generated results, food names and nutrition estimates, food and wellness scores, water totals, tasks, habits, and progress history.
Preferences: answers and selections you provide during setup so the App can personalize its experience.
Purchase status: subscription and introductory-offer eligibility supplied by Apple StoreKit. Apple processes your payment details; the App does not receive your card or billing information.
Diagnostics: first-party funnel events and Apple MetricKit performance and crash diagnostics used to understand whether core App flows work correctly.

The App does not require an account and does not ask for your name or email address. We do not collect advertising identifiers or use third-party advertising or tracking SDKs.

Before You Subscribe

A selfie taken before the subscription screen is used only to show a local preview and explain the feature. It is not sent for AI analysis, is not reused after purchase, and is not retained as an analysis result. After subscribing or starting a trial, the App asks you to take or choose a new photo before requesting analysis.

AI Processing and Your Consent

The App requests your explicit consent before sending any content to Google’s Gemini API. A photo is sent only after you actively choose Analyze. You may decline AI processing; however, AI photo analysis and AI-generated recommendations will then be unavailable.

Depending on the feature you request, the App may send:

the selfie or food photo you selected;
recent food names and scores, hydration totals, and setup preferences needed to create a personalized forecast or recommendation.

This information is sent directly from the App to Google over an encrypted connection for the requested response. We do not operate an intermediary server that receives or stores this content.

The App does not create faceprints, biometric templates, identity profiles, or use photos for Face ID, identification, authentication, advertising, or tracking.

Google Gemini

Google acts as our AI service provider. Under the paid Gemini API service terms, submitted content is not used to improve Google products. Google may retain limited prompts, responses, and related technical information for abuse monitoring, security, billing, and legal compliance as described in its terms and privacy documentation. Processing may occur in countries where Google or its service providers operate.

Local Storage and Retention

Photos, analysis results, food logs, water logs, tasks, habits, preferences, and local event history are stored in the App’s protected container on your device.
They remain there until you remove individual entries, use the App’s reset/delete-data controls, or delete the App.
Depending on your iOS and iCloud settings, locally stored App data may be included in an encrypted device backup governed by Apple’s terms.
We do not maintain a developer database containing this information.

Analytics and Diagnostics

The App records first-party product events such as viewing the subscription screen, starting a trial, revealing a result, creating the first log, returning on a later day, and detecting a subscription cancellation. These events are stored locally on your device and are not sent to our server. Apple may provide aggregated subscription information and MetricKit crash or performance diagnostics under Apple’s privacy terms.

Subscriptions and Apple

Subscriptions, trials, renewals, cancellations, and refunds are managed by Apple through the App Store.
The App receives StoreKit product information, eligibility, transaction status, and active-entitlement status to provide paid features.
Apple may provide us with aggregated sales, subscription, refund, crash, and performance information.

We do not sell personal information, share it with data brokers, or use it for cross-app tracking.

Your Choices

You choose whether to grant camera or photo-library access and which photos to analyze.
You may decline AI consent. Active subscribers can still use non-AI features such as hydration tracking.
You can delete individual history items or reset locally stored App data from the App.
You can manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple ID subscription settings.

Security

The App relies on the iOS app sandbox and Apple data-protection mechanisms for local storage and uses encrypted HTTPS connections for AI requests. No electronic storage or transmission method is completely secure, so absolute security cannot be guaranteed.

Health and Safety

Results and recommendations are general wellness estimates generated from limited information and may be inaccurate. Do not use the App for diagnosis or treatment. Consult a qualified healthcare professional about symptoms, allergies, nutrition, medications, or other health concerns.

Children’s Privacy

The App is intended only for people aged 18 or older. We do not knowingly provide the App to or collect information from children.

International Processing

When you request an AI feature, Google may process the submitted content in countries outside your place of residence. Those countries may have different data-protection laws. Google’s handling of the data is governed by the terms linked above.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when the App, our service providers, or legal requirements change. We will update the date above and provide any notice required by law.
