This policy explains how Flip Clock & Digital Widgets (the “App”) for iPhone, iPad and Mac handles information.
The App may handle:
The App does not require an account and does not ask for your name or email address. Apple processes in-app purchases. We do not receive your payment-card details or your Apple Account.
Settings, themes, countdowns and focus history are stored in the App’s protected storage on your device. The App shares one value with its own widgets on the same device: whether widgets are unlocked. This data stays on your device until you delete the App. Depending on your device settings, it may be included in an Apple device or iCloud backup.
To decide whether widgets stay free for people who installed a version earlier than 1.2, the App asks Apple’s StoreKit on your device which App version you originally downloaded. This check happens through Apple and is not sent to us.
MetricKit diagnostics remain on the device. Apple may separately receive diagnostics from users who choose to share analytics with Apple under Apple’s own policies.
To understand whether setup and the Premium screen work and where people stop, the App sends app usage events to Google Firebase Analytics. Events contain only an event name (such as a setup step, a viewed Premium screen and where it was opened from, a purchase or restore result, or a feature used such as adding a widget, completing a timer or focus session, creating a countdown, opening the full-screen clock or choosing a theme), short technical details (such as the step number, the product identifier and price, the number and styles of widgets added, or an App Store error reason), the App version, basic device information (model, operating-system version, language, country derived from the IP address) and a random app-instance identifier generated by Firebase.
These events never include countdown titles, signature text, custom theme contents or anything else you type. The App does not collect the advertising identifier (IDFA), advertising features are disabled, and analytics data is not used for advertising or to track you across other companies’ apps or websites. Google keeps this data for the period set in our Google Analytics data-retention settings and processes it under the Google Analytics for Firebase terms and the Google Privacy Policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy
We do not operate a server that receives your settings or countdowns. We do not sell personal data, use it for advertising, share it with data brokers, or use it to track you across apps or websites.

The App may ask for permission to send notifications so that timers, focus sessions and countdowns can alert you. You can change this at any time in Settings.
The App is a general-audience app and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
You can delete locally stored information by deleting the App. Usage events are tied only to a random app-instance identifier, not to your name, email or Apple Account, so we cannot look up or identify a specific person in them. Deleting the App resets that identifier.

The App uses the protected storage of your device and encrypted HTTPS for network transmission. No storage or transmission method can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
Google may process transmitted information outside your country as described in Google’s terms and privacy documentation. Applicable legal safeguards and Google’s data-processing terms govern that processing.
We may update this policy when the App, processors or legal requirements change. The “Last updated” date identifies the current version.
