This Privacy Policy explains how Drag Timer ("we", "our", or "the App") handles information when you use our macOS application.
Timer data and preferences are processed locally and stored in the App's sandboxed container. This includes timer durations, Pomodoro settings and daily completion count, notification preferences, theme and accent choices, menu bar style, click behavior, and full-screen display settings. We do not receive this local data.
To understand whether the App works well and where people have difficulty, Drag Timer sends limited product-interaction events to PostHog. These events may include:
We do not send timer labels, the names or contents of your files, your name, email address, contacts, precise location, advertising identifiers, or hardware serial numbers. Analytics is used only for product improvement and purchase-funnel measurement; it is not used for advertising or tracking you across other companies' apps or websites.
You can stop all future analytics events at any time by turning off Share Anonymous Analytics in Drag Timer Settings → General.
Lifetime Pro purchases and restorations are processed by Apple through StoreKit and the App Store. Apple provides the App with transaction and entitlement information needed to unlock Pro. We do not receive or store your payment-card details. Apple's handling of purchase data is governed by Apple's own privacy policy.
You can change these choices at any time in the App or in macOS System Settings.

We do not sell personal information. We do not share analytics data with advertising networks or data brokers.
Where data-protection law requires a legal basis, we process limited analytics data for our legitimate interests in improving the App, measuring reliability, and understanding the purchase funnel. You may object by disabling analytics in Settings. We retain analytics only for as long as reasonably necessary for these purposes and delete or aggregate it when it is no longer needed.
Local App data is protected by the macOS sandbox and your device's security controls. Analytics is transmitted over HTTPS. Our service providers may process information in countries outside your own and use appropriate safeguards where required by law. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure.
Drag Timer is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can investigate and delete it where appropriate.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or obtain a copy of personal information, and to complain to a data-protection authority. Because analytics uses a random App identifier rather than contact details, we may be unable to connect an identifier to you unless you provide it. You can always disable analytics and remove local App data by uninstalling Drag Timer.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post changes on this page and revise the "Last updated" date.
